ARIA The SINFONIA Concert Plays Tokyo in August 2023

 

An orchestral concert celebrating the music of ARIA The ANIMATION will be held at the Bunkyo Civic Hall venue in Tokyo on August 5, 2023. The concert, entitled ARIA The SINFONIA, features music from the Grand Philharmonic Tokyo orchestra conducted by Katsuhiro Ida with Tetsuo Tsushima serving as concertmaster.

 

The event also features a talk portion with staff and cast from ARIA The ANIMATION as guests, including director Junichi Sato, musicians Choro Club feat. Senoo and Mina Kubota, sound designer Yasuno Sato and voice actors Yui Makino and Erino Hazuki.

Based on the manga by Kozue Amano, ARIA The ANIMATION features direction by Junichi Sato, Kazuyoshi Fuseki and Kenichi Takeshita and animation production by Hal Film Maker and TYO Animations. Crunchyroll currently streams ARIA The ANIMATION and describes the story of the series as follows:

 

Akari Mizunashi, at the age of 15, has left everything behind to travel to a sparkling planet covered in water, Aqua.
